Development Teylingen
Monument Property and Teylingen Municipality have chosen a partner for the development of Teylingen! Together with our new partner Team Ruïne Complex, we are looking at how to transform the entire area into a vibrant part of Teylingen.

In October 2022, a selection process for the development of Teylingen by the Municipality of Teylingen and Monumentenbezit began. After careful selection, Team Ruïne Complex emerged as the most suitable partner. The team consists of architectural firm Van Manen, developing investor Citystone Group and landscape architect Baljon.
Starting a study
With this team, the municipality and Monument Property are launching a feasibility study to come up with a feasible plan for the development of Teylingen. In the coming period, it will become increasingly clear what the area will look like and what can be done later. During the study, the residents of Teylingen will be involved in the process. After that, follow-up steps will be taken toward a final plan.
Locations
The feasibility study examines several locations:the Ruins of Teylingen, the bulb shed of Westerbeek and the surrounding land with buildings.The Ruïne van Teylingen, the former Slot Teylingen, has great historical value and is even a national monument. It also recently won a restoration award! The characteristic bulb barn adds to the historical experience of the area.
Together, the sites are a combination of ancient and recent history of Teylingen and Bulb Region. Therefore, they are examined as a whole during the study.
