VACANCY EMPLOYEE MARKETING AND COMMUNICATIONS
Effective immediately, 24 hours

Putting the most beautiful monuments and activities on the map? No problem for our new colleague! As a Marketing and Communication employee, you will contribute to the awareness and opening up of the most special heritage of the Netherlands.

Built cultural heritage is an important part of Dutch history and identity. Monumentenbezit has the core task of preserving our monuments in a responsible way and sharing them with a broad public. We do this with a team of 10 people. Our portfolio includes 32 national monuments -100 buildings-, including churches, towers, memorials, ruins, buitenplaatsen and the fortifications.

To properly market four of these magnificent monuments, we are looking for a Marketing and Communications Officer.

Our new colleague

You will think strategically about how best to market our monuments and the activities that take place there. You will also write texts for online and offline and create content for social media.

Your work will include content for Kasteel Radboud (Medemblik), Kasteel Slangenburg (Doetinchem), the Ruïne van Nuwendoorn (Sint Maarten) and eventually Buitenplaats Trompenburgh ('s-Gravenland). A diverse and unique collection of monuments, with more potentially added in the future. You will travel to one of these monuments once a week, but also work at our office in 's-Gravenland.

This is what you come to do with us

  • Making visible to everyone how special these monuments are.
  • Promote activities and exhibitions both nationally and locally.
  • Deploy and develop actions to increase the public outreach of our monuments.
  • Produce and post content for mailings, social media, website, press releases, print materials, etc.
  • Writing of website texts.
  • Design or supervise the design of flyers and other printed materials. To do so, you will work with Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and/or Canva.
  • Expand the existing social media community.
  • Supervise audience surveys and analyze online results (Google Analytics).

Also nice if you:

  • Good command of the Dutch language both verbally and in writing
  • Have a feel for photography and/or making videos.
  • Have a driver's license and your own car to visit our landmarks.

What you get in return

  • A competitive salary, depending on education and experience.
  • You work from beautiful, unique locations with special stories. Every week looks different.
  • If you do not work in one of the monuments, you will work at our office at Buitenplaats Trompenburgh or in Naarden Vesting. In addition, a combination with working from home is also an option.
  • An opportunity to grow with an organization that is rapidly evolving.
  • A varied job with room to continue to develop yourself by taking additional courses, workshops or possible training.
