The victory of small materials

Research into historic concrete is gaining more and more prominence. Following his presentation during the Building History Platform of the RCE, Jeroen van der Werf wrote an extensive article for Nieuwsbrief Bouwhistorie (number 79) of the Stichting Bouwhistorie Nederland. An abridged version of it recently appeared in Saillant (number 3/2025), the quarterly magazine of the Menno van Coehoorn Foundation. Meanwhile, the research continues.
