Monumentenbezit is looking for a proactive and enthusiastic employee Relationship Management to take care of the relationship development strategy of our monuments, with first priority and focus on Buitenplaats Trompenburgh. In time, a strategy will have to be developed for other monuments as well. You will support and give final responsibility to the management and project leader.

There is already a strategy for Buitenplaats Trompenburgh, which you will develop and implement. You take care of the (financial and legal) administration of donations, you approach potential donors and companies and organize receptions. Good communication skills, strategy and perseverance play an important role. You like to function in a team, but can also work well independently. For fundraising, there are two part-time colleagues with whom you will work closely.

Who are you?

  • You have an affinity for heritage/monuments.
  • You have a completed college or university education.
  • You have at least five years of experience in relationship development, sponsorship and donorship.
  • You have excellent communication skills.
  • You are an enthusiastic personality and strong in pitching and persuasion.
  • You are results-oriented and you think in solutions.
  • You are communicatively strong and well organized.

This is what you come to do with us

As an Associate in Relationship Management, you will be responsible for:

  • To develop and implement the relationship development strategy for Trompenburgh Cemetery and, in time, for other Monuments of Monument ownership.
  • Ensuring that concerned individuals and businesses commit to Trompenburgh Country Estate and contribute to the restoration and opening of the country estate.
  • Invite and approach potential givers and organize related receptions and events.
  • Spotting opportunities, searching for new target groups and providing a (new) network.
  • Maintain an active and relevant relationship network.
  • Proper project planning and doing the administration around relationship development.
  • Help implement new ways to inform (potential) givers about developments and projects to which they contribute.
  • Supporting fundraising strategy; collaborating with fundraising colleagues.
